Welcome to my site dedicated to sharing satellite images I’ve received with relatively cheap equipment.
Shared images will primarily consist of data from my three geostationary satellite stations, with other images as well.
Elektro-L3 Station
The below link contains images from my Elektro-L3 Low Rate Information Transmission (LRIT) station. I started collecting data mid April 2022.

Below is a special example. This screenshot of a LRIT image was received from Elektro-L3 on April 20, 2023. It is a natural color composite constructed from photos taken at 11:30am AWST, when parts of Western Australia were experiencing a full solar eclipse. Image transmission occurred at 11:42am AWST.

In November 2023 L3’s IR10 images started to show signs of degradation and other not great behaviour. You can read more about that in the below link.

Fengyun-2G (FY-2G) Station
The below link contains images from my FY-2G SVISSR station. I started collecting data from this satellite January 2023.

GEOKOMPSAT-2A (GK-2A) Station
The below link contains images from my GK-2A LRIT station. I started collecting data from this satellite in 2023.

GK-2A HRIT
The below link contains images and some post-processed data from GK-2A HRIT that I’ve received. GK-2A HRIT is quite challenging to receive given the weak transmission.

GOES-15/EWS-G2 GVAR
The below link contains images from GOES-15 GVAR that I received while it’s still drifting. This Geostationary satellite will apparently be stationed near EWS-G1 so I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be able to receive these images before the satellite falls below the treeline.
